Background
JetEx Simulation provides incredible immersive flight simulator experiences for both trainee pilots and the general public thanks to their full motion Boeing 737 simulator. Owner Romek Delimata is highly experienced in the flight simulator world, having set up and run a similar business in Ireland before moving to the UK and setting up JetEx.
His experience in cockpit design extends to the film world where, as a concept artist, he’s worked on films such as Tenet, First Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar.
Situation
Having built the full motion simulator, Romek was looking to drive awareness and bookings without having to resort to the experience aggregators such as Virgin Experience Days. The JetEx website wasn’t delivering an optimal user experience, with no cohesive look & feel and there was no real marketing strategy to drive the desired growth.
What I delivered
With some basic ads already set up and driving traffic, my first task was to overhaul the user experience of the website to drive immediate conversion rate improvements. So I defined a brand look & feel to ensure consistency across the site, giving users a more professional impression of the business and thereby increasing trust.
With Christmas approaching, gift voucher sales were high on the agenda so I redesigned the purchasing experience, setting out key purchase options for prospective buyers.
The other key pages of the website then followed, resulting in a completely new user experience that gives visitors clear information that sets the sim apart from other competitors and social proof with Tripadvisor and Google reviews peppered throughout at key purchase points.
I then overhauled the Google Ads account, setting up new sales-driving campaigns with highly targeted keyword targets and optimised ads. In parallel, I overhauled the Meta Ads account, designed and built all the creative assets to drive the target audience to the site from Facebook and Instagram.
With performance optimisation at the heart of everything I do, I created a simple interactive dashboard that gave Romek full visibility of the performance of the ads and website in a single place. The dashboard allows him to see exactly what’s working, what’s not and what marketing activity is driving growth.
I defined an organic search strategy and set about optimising the site for the most profitable keywords as well as defining and building additional pages within the site to attract more traffic.
